Volunteens
Peach Regional Medical Center implemented the Volunteen Program in 1998. The purpose of the program is to allow students to have an opportunity to become familiar with the many careers in the health care field as well as learn important job skills.

PRMC’s Volunteen Program offers participants a variety of opportunities to contribute to the community while receiving the satisfaction that comes from helping others. Their importance extends throughout the Hospital -- assisting patients, staff, and the general public.

The program is funded by an annual golf tournament played in the fall.


All applicants must be at least 14 or must have completed the 8th grade. Space is limited for this program.

Applications are available for this program from mid- to late-April and may be picked up at the hospital. Application deadline is mid-May and all applications should be submitted to the switchboard operator at the main entrance of the hospital or mailed to:

Interviews occur mid- to late-May with the program running from the first week of June to the last week of July or first week of August.
