Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is helpful in restoring, maintaining, and promoting overall fitness, health, and optimal quality of life.

PT helps prevent the onset and progression of impairment, functional limitations, disability, changes in physical function, and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Try our hometown physical therapy department and avoid unnecessary miles. The therapy department of Peach Regional Medical Center is staffed by caring, professional, experienced and qualified personnel to fulfill your needs.

Staff members attend continuing education courses regularly to offer our patients the latest and most effective treatment approach to specific injuries. Therapists are required to pass a national examination and be licensed by the state in which they practice. Though other kinds of practitioners offer some of these treatments and may present them as "physical therapy," physical therapy can be provided only by a qualified PT or PT Assistant and OT or OT Assistant.
