Registration/Admission

Outpatient Registration Hours
7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

In-Patient/Emergency Registration Hours:
Open 24 hours a day

Patient Registration will be your first stop at Peach Regional Medical Center. There are two different Patient Registration offices. Outpatient Registration is located at the front of the hospital adjacent to the main entrance and In-Patient Registration is located at the rear of the hospital adjacent to the Emergency Room.

Outpatient Registration handles all procedures for which an overnight stay in the hospital is not planned or required, including all surgical procedures. Go to this office if you do not expect to spend the night in the hospital. If you know you are being admitted to the hospital for one night or more, you should report to ER Registration. When you arrive at the appropriate registration area, you will need to provide your insurance information to the clerk who is checking you in.

Things to remember:
  • Arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment
  • Present your insurance card and be prepared to go over your information with the Registration Clerk. It is important to ensure we have current and accurate data on file. This will help to avoid billing problems.
  • You will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment as well as an authorization to submit a claim to your insurance company. Please be assured that your treatment and stay will be handled in such a way to keep both medical and financial information private and protected.
  • If you have special needs - such as need for an interpreter or wheelchair - please let us know before you arrive
Note: If you are scheduled for surgical admission to PRMC, you may receive a telephone call from the Hospital's Registration Department prior to the admission date to begin the registration process.
